How do I change the language on the Ticketcorner Website?

On the Ticketcorner.ch website, click on the globe icon in the top right and select your preferred Language. 

Gibt es einen Studierendenrabatt? / Is there a student discount?

Ja, es gibt vergünstigte Tickets für Studierende und Lernende. Um diese Tickets zu kaufen, beim Billettkauf auf Ticketcorner auf "Ermässigungen & Buchungsoptionen" klicken und dann das Ticket «Mit Legi» zum reduzierten Preis auswählen.

Yes, students and people in an apprentenceship can buy tickets at a discounted rate. When buying the tickets on Ticketcorner, click on "Discounts & booking options". Choose the ticket «Mit Legi» for the reduced price.

Ist meine Legi gültig für eine Ermässigung? / Which student IDs are valid for a discount?

Rechtlich gültig sind die Bestimmungen auf Ticketcorner.ch:

"Es gelten alle Legis mit Foto und innerhalb ihrer Gültigkeitsfrist, d.h. von allen ETHs, Universitäten, Fachhochschulen, Kantonsschulen, Berufsschulen etc. sowie der internationale Studierendenausweis (ISIC). Die Legi ist am Ballabend beim Eintritt vorzuweisen. Ansonsten muss die Differenz an der Abendkasse bezahlt werden.
Auch ausländische (zeitlich) gültige Studierendenausweise werden akzeptiert. Es ist für das Eingangspersonal jedoch nicht immer möglich alle ausländischen Studierendenausweise als solche zu erkennen, insbesondere, wenn sie in einer anderen Sprache ausgestellt sind. Im Zweifelsfall wird empfohlen einen internationalen Studierendenausweis (ISIC) vorzuweisen."

The Legi must be presented at the entrance on the evening of the ball. Otherwise, the difference must be paid at the box office.
Foreign student IDs (valid for a certain period of time) are also accepted. However, it is not always possible for the entrance staff to recognize all foreign student IDs as such, especially if they are issued in a different language. If in doubt, it is recommended to show an international student ID (ISIC)."

Ich habe das falsche Ticket gekauft, bekomme ich trotzdem eine Ermässigung? / I bought the wrong ticket, can I still get a discount?

Leider können wir bei einem Fehlkauf keine nachträgliche Vergünstigung anbieten oder den Ticketpreis rückerstatten. Ticketcorner bietet allerdings den fanSale an, wo Ticketcorner-Tickets verkauft werden können.

STUDENT ID

Mit Legi – Legi muss am Eingang vorgewiesen werden.

VIP AREA

Until 10:00 PM, this area is reserved for guests with a VIP ticket. Thanks to their support, we are able to bring to life Europe’s largest decorated ball year after year. From 10:00 PM onwards, the elegant space offers all guests the best view of the lively atmosphere and the spectacular performances in the main hall. Step inside, take a deep breath, and enjoy a brief moment of calm amidst the excitement.

ENTRANCES

You will find the entrances at the main entrance of the ETH main building on the University Hospital side, as well as to the left and right of it – directly across from the ETH/Universitätsspital tram stop. An additional entrance is located on Tannenstrasse, also directly across from the ETH/Universitätsspital tram stop.
